Success Stories from Education Project
One of the children who benefited from the project was 10-year-old Mariam. Mariam lives in a refugee camp with her parents and two younger siblings. Her family is very poor, and they struggle to make ends meet. Mariam’s father is a day laborer, and her mother is a stay-at-home mom. Mariam loves to learn, but she often had to go to school without the necessary supplies.
When Mariam received her backpack filled with school supplies, she was so excited. She had never had her own backpack before, and she was thrilled to have all the supplies she needed to start the new school year. Mariam’s parents were also very grateful for the project. They said that the supplies would make a big difference in Mariam’s education.
Mariam is now able to go to school with the confidence that she has everything she needs to succeed. She is grateful for the support of the Refah Foundation and the generous donors who made her back-to-school dream come true.
