Qurbani 2025 in Lebanon

During the blessed days of Eid al-Adha 2025, Refah Çocuk successfully carried out its annual Qurbani Sacrifice Project in Lebanon. With the support of generous donors, we were able to sacrifice both sheep and cows and distribute fresh meat to some of the most vulnerable groups in society—orphans, elderly individuals, and families in need.

Over the course of four days of Eid, our dedicated team worked tirelessly to ensure every Qurbani was performed according to Islamic guidelines and that every portion of meat reached the right hands.

Why Qurbani Matters

Qurbani, or Udhiya, is more than a ritual—it’s an opportunity to share blessings with those who struggle to meet their basic needs. In Lebanon, where many families face economic hardship, the Qurbani meat brings much-needed relief and joy during Eid.

For many of our beneficiaries, this is the only time of year they receive fresh meat.
